Module Structure & Pages

This module allows you to create and manage your structure and pages. You open the module via the asset Website and then click on Structure and Pages.

The Structure and Pages view, figure 1, is divided into two columns;

In the left column, you will see;

  •  Add website
  •  Add folder
  •  More, perform actions on your site or folder, figure 3 and 4, respectively
  •  Website(s), since Sitebox supports multiple sites, you can simply integrate it into one system if you have multiple sites
  •  Folders, you can create folders to provide structure for your website
     

In the right column, you will see;

  • Structure and Pages, the content of the selected site or folder. We see in figure 1 that the site 'course.sitebox.com' is selected. We see the  index.html page (homepage) of your website
     
  • Action buttons, you can do the following by means of the action buttons;

      Filter/search, looks through the selected site or folder
      Add, add new page
      Edit selected page
      Delete, remove selected page(s)
      Publish, publish selected page(s)
      SEO Report selected page
      More actions on your selected page, see figure 5
      index.html page, the 'first' page created within selected website or folder

     
  • Logout, button to logout

Summary

If you select a page, a summary appears at the bottom of the window containing the following information,

Control over your website

You can perform actions on your website with the option more in the left column, figure 3;

  •  Edit Website, domain name, title, secure (HTTPS), standard template, apply template recursive, google analytics code
  •  Delete Website, remove entire website
  •  Change Website Permissions, set rights of Sitebox users (backend)
  •  Duplicate Website, duplicable entire website
  •  Publish Website, publish entire website
  •  Change Website Scheduling, set date and time of website online/offline
  •  Change Website Accesibility, access settings; everyone, only registered users, certain groups
  • Audit Log, overview of operations on the selected website

Control over your folders

You can perform actions on your folders via the option more in the left column if you have selected a folder, figure 4;

  • Edit Folder, change folder name, select standard template, apply template recursive
  • Delete Folder, delete folder and entire content
  • Change Folder permissions, set rights at folder level
  • Duplicate Folder, duplicate folder
  • Publish Folder Contents, publish the entire folder
  • Change Folder Scheduling, set date and time online/offline
  • Change Folder Accessibility, access settings; everyone, only registered users, certain groups
  • Audit Log, overview of operations on the selected folder

Add and control over your content

Chapter 4 of the basic training will teach you how to create a page.

You can perform various actions on the selected content via the option more in the right column, figure 5;

  •   Rollback, version management, you can roll back changes to a previous version
  •   Change Permissions, awarding of rights or content can be: viewed, added, changed, removed, published or rights can be adjusted.
  •   Change Scheduling, set date and time (online/offline)
  •   Change Accessibility, access settings; everyone, only registered users, certain groups
  •   Take Offline, take selected page(s) offline
  •   Duplicate, duplicate the selected page
  •   Audit log, overview of operations on the selected page
